QuizAero Five Day Microlight Theory Course.
QuizAero is pleased to announce that following the fantastic feedback we received from our first classroom based course, we will be hosting our second five day theory course for microlight students.
Date and Location
The course typically runs Monday-Friday and will be posted here when the next available dates are announced.
Format
The course is run by QuizAero's CAA approved Flight Examiner.
Each day you will receive a number of lectures and discussions. After each lecture there will be a quiz and at the end of each day you will take the real exam.
After five days, you will go home with a full set of passes and can concentrate on your flying lessons knowing that the theory is complete.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Microlight Air Law
Day 2 - Aircraft General Knowledge
Day 3 - Meteorology
Day 4 - Navigation and Flight Planning
Day 5 - Human Performance and Limitations
Cost
The cost is only £399 for BMAA or QuizAero members (£459 for non members) and includes all lectures, quizzes and learning material for all five subjects, written exams including free resits where necessary and refreshments throughout each day.
Site Facilities
The airfield has fantastic facilities on site including a microlight flying club (North East Flying Club), a parachute centre, cafe and bar. The airfield is within walking distance to the town centre with cafes and shops only five minutes away.
Accommodation
Accommodation is required for four nights (Mon-Thurs). We can recommend some local hotels - just ask us.
